Apple card is available only on the basis of random invites.
Apple showcased it’s credit card earlier this year in the services event and recently rolled out the card in its virtual and physical form.
The card is in collaboration with an American financial corporation known as Goldman Sachs which actually issues a physical card at no extra cost. The virtual form of the card is available in the wallet app of your iPhone and one important thing to note is that you will need an iPhone to activate the card. The physical card is totally clean white in colour titanium metallic card with no number whatsoever but the users name, chip, Goldman Sachs logo, MasterCard logo and magnetic strip. The card does not have an expiry date but the card number and CVV is available in the wallet app.
The card is mainly focused on privacy and reducing your spendings, the former one is addressed by a clean no number card and FaceID and TouchID protection of the wallet app. The latter shows a graphical and clean look of all your spendings in different categories and also shows the places where you spend money in the map. The spendings are categorized in different colours according to different categories and whenever you spend money the virtual card changes the colour. You even receive 1% cashback on everything, 2% cashback using Apple pay and 3% cashback valid only in the Apple store and there is no maximum value on cashback. The card is accepted where every other card is accepted, so there is no exception there.
There is no word on the release date of the card in India but by the end of next month most of the people in the US will be receiving their cards.
