Samsung launched a Laptop

During the Samsung Unpacked Event held on 7 August, Samsung launched a laptop called Samsung Galaxy Book S alongside Samsung Galaxy Note10 and Note10+.

DESIGN: The laptop is very light, portable and slim at just 0.96Kg. The laptop sports a 13.3 inch touchscreen. It has a fingerprint scanner to log in to your laptop and a 720p front facing camera. It is available in Earthly Gold and Mercury Gray colour.

PERFORMANCE: The laptop has the all new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Compute Platform 7nm 64bit Octa-core processor. It supports Windows 10 Home/Pro and has 8GB RAM(DDR4) with 256GB or 512GB ROM and expandable storage upto 1TB. It has a 42Wh battery which supports 23 hours of video playback. It will support nano sim LTE. The laptop turns on instantly and one doesn’t require to sign-in or shut down again and again, so basically it will act as a a Mobile or a Tablet at that instant and this particular feature is one of the highlights of the upcoming Galaxy Book S.

The laptop will be available at a price of $999 later this fall in the US with Verizon carrier and the global version will release in September. As of now there is no word on global pricing and carriers.

According to me the laptop could be very popular among College and High School students and is definitely going to be very much better than the overly priced Google Pixelbook (just a chromebook).
